The Grant County Health District’s Board of Health needs a new representative from the north end of the county. Volunteers for Second Harvest hand out 9,127 pounds of food to 404 individuals, in 148 families, at the Zion Lutheran Church Sept. 27, including 5,060 pounds of produce. At the Second Annual Chili Cook Off held at Banks Lake Golf Course Saturday, Cheri Thomas won for her second year in a row, winning a 12 Tribes Casino package, including a $100 gaming voucher, a $100 spa voucher, and $50 in meal vouchers.
