Fireworks over Grand Coulee Dam will be on Wednesday, July 4, this year, Peggy Nevsimal of the Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce said Tuesday. The chamber board and Nevsimal returned from a retreat at Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, over the weekend and made several decisions that affect activities here during the year. Coulee Dam cuts back on tourism funding The town of Coulee Dam will likely put less money into funding tourism promotion next year following a town council OK on a first reading of the proposed budget Monday.
