Chamber to Meet

The Grand Coulee Dam Area Chamber of Commerce will meet at La Presa Mexican Restaurant in Grand Coulee at noon this Thursday, February 22, for its weekly membership meeting.

On Monday, February 26, the annual membership banquet and board installation is happening at the Melody Restaurant beginning at 6 p.m. The public is welcome. Please RSVP to 633-3074 by Friday, Feb. 23, if you plan to attend.

Grant County

Fire Dist. 14 to Meet

Grant County Fire District 14 will hold its regular monthly meeting 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 26, at the Electric City Fire Station.

Coulee Creators

Meet on Tuesdays

Coulee Creators meet at 412 Federal Ave. Room 207, Grand Coulee. Contact Marlene Oddie at KISSed Quilts or 509-386-5715 for further details. Hours are normally Tuesdays 1-4 p.m.

Retirees to Meet

Okanogan County School Retirees Association meets at 11 a.m. Friday, February 23, for a general meeting and no-host luncheon at Koala Street Grill, 914 Koala St., Omak. Okanogan High School Business Teacher, Zach Spaet, will explain the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) program. For more information: Jennie Hedington 509-422-2954.

AA Meetings

for GCD and

Nespelem Area

Confused in the Coulee AA meetings are held on Mondays and Fridays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center in Electric City. Call Paul at 633-3377 days or 633-3345 evenings.

New Hope Group meetings are held Wednesdays at 6 p.m. at the Vets Center. These are open and non-smoking.

In Nespelem, the group Bound and Determined holds its meetings Monday evening at 7 p.m. at the Catholic Church.

Community Action

Board to Meet

The Okanogan County Community Action Council Board of Directors will hold their regular board meeting Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 5:15 p.m. at Community Action, 424 S. 2nd Avenue, Okanogan.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

OCCAC is a community building organization. We work with community members of all groups to raise the poor out of poverty, to feed the hungry, to provide affordable housing for all, to empower community members through education, and in the process to return prosperity and hope for the future to our county.
