George Kohout was born in Mason City (Coulee Dam) in 1945 to Ladd Anton Kohout and Avanell Frances Beck. He passed on to the Lord on Sunday, August 20, 2023. He lived in the Grand Coulee area all his life. His father, Ladd, died when George was very young. Eventually, Avanell married L.J. Flowers, a wonderful Texan father to George and his siblings. Grand Coulee Police 8/28 - A semi-truck had somehow “dropped a load” of apples on the road and sidewalk near the gas station in Coulee Dam. Charlie L Gordon left this world August 7th, 2023. Born in July 1951 to Clarence and Ima Jean Gordon and raised in Grand Coulee, Washington. With an adventurous and mischievous child, Charlie's mother was kept busy and the Grand Coulee community was well entertained. He and his childhood friend Cliff Service were known to run wild through the interior of the Grand Coulee Dam. 1 years ago Local bowlers recently brought home the cash during the 2013 Washington state women’s bowling tournament in Anacortes. Mae Stensgar and Candy Weed-Butts took first in doubles, their team Riverview Lanes II, which also included Sherry Potts and Jennifer Miller took seventh.
