The regional wrestling tournament for state districts five and six was canceled last Friday, so all 23 Raider wrestlers who had qualified for the regional meet at Oroville are now going to the state tournament this week. The the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association announced Friday that all regional wrestling tournaments set for Saturday have been canceled due to bad weather conditions affecting travel. Instead, apparently every athlete who qualified for regionals will instead go to the state tournament next week in Tacoma. The Raiders went to Oroville on Thursday to wrestle in a dual match, where the Hornets combined with Liberty Bell and Wilbur-Creston-Keller to form one team to take on Lake Roosevelt.
