Grand Coulee Police 6/19 - Police responded to a report that two brothers were fighting at an Electric Boulevard location. One brother said he had tried to enter the house to get some sleep but the other prevented him from doing so, so he punched him in the face 10 times, the report stated. - A driver southbound on Martin Road was stopped by police because it was noted that he wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. Newspaper closed Memorial Day The Star newspaper office will be closed Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. The deadline for news and advertising will be 5 p.m. Friday, May 26. Ambulance and fire calls stated The Grand Coulee ambulance service had 24 calls during the month of April, volunteer fire Chief Rick Paris reported to the city council at its last meeting.
