Dale Lenard Taylor

Dale Lenard Taylor 60 years young, sadly left us on Thursday, January 5, 2023.

Born May 7, 1962, to Lenard and Clareen Taylor in Lodi, California. His legacy lives on with his daughters Janae and Jessica Taylor and their mother Tina Taylor. Dale has seven grandchildren:  Cambia, Jacob, Jeremiah, Shawn, Cassidy, Skyla, and Hazel. He also has one sister Stacy Davis, her husband George and their children George and Patty and their families. He also left behind his longtime companion Kelly Whitelaw and her family, Sadie, Dugan and children Ozzy, Adin, and Zoey. There was also a large extended family and many treasured friends. He will always be remembered for the time he spent with his grandchildren, family and many friends.

Dale was known as the Muffler Man to many in the community through his work at Taylor's Marine Center. He started working on cars, boats, and motorcycles at the young age of 14. He and his dad built his pride and joy 65 Chevy pickup when he was only 16.

Dale loved to go fast starting with his bicycles, then his motorcycle, truck, boat, and then back to his bicycle. He raced motor cross, competed in water-ski solumn course and raced in the annual outhouse race with his Coulee-Craper. He loved anything to do with water: boating, swimming, fishing, skiing and just playing on the beach and camping with family. He was also an avid bird and deer hunter.

Dale always made time to help others, he had strong values and positive energy. He had a amazing memory and told entertaining, funny stories. Dale will forever be cherished and remembered!

A memorial will be held in May!
