Donald Stanley Fisher

Donald Stanley Fisher passed away on April 22, 2025. He was born to loving parents Bob and Thelma Fisher on December 23, 1948, in Grants Pass, Oregon. Later in Washington State, he graduated from Snohomish High School in 1967 and joined the US Navy. Donald served his country with pride until 1971, leaving the Navy as a decorated seaman.

A beloved son and brother, he returned home and continued his love of family and the great outdoors. Hunting, fishing and camping with his family were his passions. He would soon become a father to a daughter, Racheal Felton and a son, Issac Fisher with his then wife, Judith Hendricks. Later he remarried, Chris Fisher and gained a step-daughter, Rebecca Ferguson.

He had a dedicated career working for the City of Mountlake Terrace for over 20 years. Upon retirement in 2004, he moved to Electric City, to be near Banks Lake, where he spent many summers camping and fishing with his family. It was there he found his community with his brothers at American Legion Post 157.

Don is survived by his loving children, grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and all four of his siblings, Dale (twin), Gary, Sue and Chuck.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Chris, that he loved dearly until her passing in 2018.
