Virginia Berthron

Virginia Berthron passed away early Easter morning, April 20, 2025, in Billings, Montana with her family by her side.

Virginia was born on May 14, 1927, in Hamtramck, MI to Nick and Gertrude Kruk. The family moved to the Grand Coulee Dam area when she was a young girl and she resided there until 2021 when she moved to Billings, MT to be closer to family.

Virginia graduated from Grand Coulee High School and later attended Kinman Business School in Spokane, WA. She then was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation as a telephone operator where she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Berthron.

Virginia and Bob were married on April 21, 1956, in Grand Coulee WA. The couple welcomed their first child Nick, in 1959, and Roseann followed in 1961.

Virginia is survived by her son, Nick (Linda) Berthron of Billings, MT daughter, Roseann (Raymond) Arechiga of San Jose, CA grandson, Derrick (Christine) Brandstrom of Billings, MT granddaughter Codyrae Arechiga of Santa Cruz, CA great-grandchildren Abigail Brandstrom and Parker and Bodie Henning all of Billings, MT.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, parents, Nick and Gertrude Kruk and granddaughter, Tiffany Henning.

Graveside services will be held at Spring Canyon Cemetery at a later date.
