Larry Lee Hall

Larry Lee Hall 76, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center due to complications of a hip fracture, and unresolved blood issues. Larry was born on Friday August 13, 1948, in Richland, WA to Charles L. Hall, and Leta J. (Johnson) where they lived until they moved to Coulee Dam, Quincy, E. Wenatchee, and Elmer City, WA. He graduated in 1966 from Quincy High School, after which he joined the United States Army, graduating from Fort Lewis in 1968, and serving in Vietnam through 1970. Larry was discharged with honors.

Upon his return to the States, Larry married Chris, and enrolled in the community college at Everett WA, then on to Weaver State University in Ogden, Utah where he played Offensive Lineman for the Wildcats Football League, and declined a try out for pro football with the Dallas Cowboys. He obtained a degree in Forestry, and was accepted into WSU to continue his Education. Larry returned to the area to work in construction at the Grand Coulee Dam. He married Edie (Adams), and lived in Elmer City with stepsons Scott, Tim, and Donny.

In 1988 Larry pur-sued a career in Law Enforcement, joining the Colville Tribal Police

Department where he served as sergeant for the patrol unit, and the Drug Enforcement Task Force until he transferred to a position at the Coulee Dam Police Department, as sergeant on patrol, security for the Grand Coulee Dam, WASP Crime Laboratory Division Drug Identification Technician, and later as Acting Police Chief. After he retired in 2018, he joined the Council for the Town of Coulee Dam from 2021 to 2025.

In 1997 Larry married Angel (Clark), and moved to Nespelem with his stepson Jason, and stepdaughters Norma Jean, and Cecila. And in 1998 at the age of 50, he was blest with the gift of his son Nathaniel. After which he moved back into the area in 2000.

Larry attended both the Coulee Dam Community Church, and the Nespelem Sacred Heart Church. He devoted his life to our Lord & Savior through the daily guidance of the Bible, prayer, and service. He enjoyed time spent with his family, and he loved his time in the kitchen cooking every recipe he could get his hands on, so much so that there is no longer any room in his home office because of all of  the recipe books and magazines he has collected over the years. He looked forward to talking the heads off of anyone who would listen to the many exploits he and his buddies managed to survive. He liked to drive the Coulee with his Pomeranian, Fang, and hunt birds with his Retriever,  Zak when they were alive. He also liked to fish, and watch football.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents Chuck & Linda Hall, his son Donny, and daughter Cecila. He is survived by his brothers Randi (Dee), and Mike (Kim); his wife Angel; his sons Scott, Tim, Jason (Brandi) & Nathaniel (Isabella), his daughter Jean; his nephew Andrew (Dalyla), and his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Larry's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to our neighbor Archie Dennis, and the Grand Coulee Emergency Services; to the Coulee Medical Center; Life Flight, and Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center for their excellent medical services, and gracious care. Also, special thanks to the Department of Veterans Affairs, to the Neptune Society, and the Ball & Dodd Crematory; to the Town of Coulee Dam; to Father Jake Morton, and to all of our family, friends and neighbors, and lastly, we can never forget to include all of the Veterans who served our country.
