The Raider boys finished their regular season ranked third in the league with an 8-4 win-loss record in the Central Washington 2B league, 12-5 overall, and are moving onto the district tournament tonight (Feb. 9).

In the league, they trail behind Okanogan (11-1, 18-2) and Brewster (9-3, 15-5).

The Raiders lost to Okanogan on the road on Feb. 1 with a final score of 61-57.

Alonzo Adams led the Raiders, scoring 28 points.

Chase Marchand added 13 points, with Brandon Pino scoring another 12.

On Feb. 4 in Brewster, LR lost 70-49.

LR was down by just one point at the half, 33-32.

Head Coach Jeremy Crollard said that in the second half, the officials let Brewster be physical, which took LR out of their "offensive flow."

A Brewster 12-0 run in the fourth further took LR out of the game, Crollard explained.

Adams led the Raider offense with 12 points with Chase Marchand scoring 10, Tanner Kiser and Brandon Pino scoring nine each, and Chase Clark scoring eight.

The next day in Coulee Dam, LR hosted Manson in the final game of the regular season, with LR winning 70-61.

Manson led at the beginning of the game, starting the first quarter with a 7-0 run.

LR trailed 15-9 at the end of the quarter, and narrowed the point margin in the second quarter, with Manson still up 32-29.

In the second half, LR scored 41 points to Manson's 29 to take the lead and win 70-61.

Tanner Kiser scored 14 as did Ivan Alejandre.

Adams scored 13, Marchand scored 12, and Pino scored 11.

Crollard said making adjustments at halftime led to them hitting seven three-point shots in the second half.

"We got open shots in the second half that we weren't in the first," he said.

The Raiders are scheduled to play the Bridgeport Mustangs in the first round of the league playoffs tonight, Feb. 9, at 6:30 p.m.

If they win tonight, they will play the winner of tonight's Liberty Bell vs Brewster game on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 6:30 p.m.

If Brewster wins against Liberty Bell, Brewster will host LR; if Liberty Bell wins, LR will host.

If that game happens, and LR wins, the next round of the league playoffs isn't until Feb. 18 when they would play for the league championship.
