All-league student-athletes named

Lake Roosevelt student-athletes were named to all-league teams in the Central Washington 2B League for spring sports.

“A huge congratulations to each of these athletes for representing Lake Roosevelt with pride at the league level,” a Facebook post by the athletic department stated. “The effort put in day after day at practice showed up when it mattered most.”

Boys’ Track & Field Honors

• 100m Terrell Bush – Second Team

• 400m Tyler Mills – Honorable Mention

• 3200m Caden Portch – Second Team

• 300m Hurdles Ezekiel Broadnax – Honorable Mention

• 4x100m Relay – Honorable Mention: Terrell Bush, Ezekiel Broadnax, Caden Portch, Tyler Mills.

• High Jump Ezekiel Broadnax – First Team

Tyler Mills – Second Team

• Long Jump Terrell Bush – First Team

• Triple Jump Ezekiel Broadnax – Second Team

• Shot Put Madelynn Carman – Honorable Mention

LR girls named to all-league for softball honors

The Lake Roosevelt Lady Raiders earned Central Washington 2B All-League recognition for the 2026 season.

Named to the all-league First Team were Shae Crollard, Paisley Fury-Smith, Juel Swager, Cambry Brown, and Zaley Laramie, who was also named Pitcher of the Year.

Named to the all-league Second Team was Ashlyn Sam.

The team made it to the state tournament and played three games, losing the last one in the last inning to Kittitas, a team that had beaten LR at district.

“To come back this game and only lose in the very last inning 11-13, after being up, was absolutely devastating,” said Head Coach Khani Priest, “but I think it showed the girls how good they really are and how much potential they truly have. … I’m just so unbelievably proud of them and what they accomplished this year. We will be back next year.”
