Gwenneth B. "Gwen" Wright, 74, born Friday April 18, 1947, in Binger, Oklahoma, to Kenneth R. and Prudence Edmonds; passed away last week in Electric City, Washington.  She was a member of the "Caddo Tribe" and 1963 graduate of Ponca City High School in Ponca City, Oklahoma.  On Saturday, March 13, 1976, in what would be her home for the next 45 years, Gwen married the "love of her life" John T. "Jack" Wright.  She and Jack ran Grand Coulee, Washington's Teepee Drive-in for many years.  After selling the Teepee, they enjoyed travelling together, making trips to Hawaii each year to celebrate their wedding anniversary.  A lifelong member of the United Methodist Church, Gwen attended Okanogan United Methodist Church.  Aside from her other church activities, she was proud to be a member of "United Methodist Women," which is "the largest denominational faith organization for women...fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice."

Gwen loved to dine out and was an avid collector, especially of owls.  Her greatest joy however came from spending time with her family, whom she loved and cared for deeply.

She is predeceased by both of her parents and in December of 2010, her beloved husband and soulmate of 34 years, John "Jack" Wright, of whom Gwen declared, "Jack was a fantastic man!"
