Donna Louise Hart-Bird, 70, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018, in Grand Coulee, Washington. Donna entered this world on Sunday, March 14, 1948, in Wenatchee, Washington. Donna Louise Hart married Herbert Bird just four days prior to her 19th birthday on Saturday, March 18, 1967, at the Methodist Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She was a beloved member of the Grand Coulee Area, remembered as an extra kind soul, always compassionate and kind to others. Those fortunate enough to have Donna coiffeur their hair during her 20-plus years with "The Bobbi–Pin Beauty Salon" knew Donna loved and cared for each of her customers; even making housecalls to do the hair of those unable to make it to the shop. True to her profession when out and about, Donna's hair, makeup and dress was always perfect. Donna enjoyed reading her Bible every morning, walking and just sitting on the deck of her home, enjoying the beauty around her; however, her greatest love was always for her family. Whether going dancing with Herb, keeping their home spotlessly clean; cooking the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy on earth; taking the boys fishing; enjoying family swim days at Spring Canyon; visiting with her sisters and brothers or just spending time listening to her children and grandchildren; Donna continually demonstrated her "Fierce Love" for her family.

Predeceased by both of her parents; brother, Melvin (Buck) Hart and her granddaughter: Chloe Harris; Donna's legacy lives on through her beloved husband of 51 years: Herbert Bird; children: Sjana Bird (Daniel Pat Morris), Juanita Bird-Stoddard and Shane Bird (Shelley); grandchildren: Lucas Bird, Trista Harris, Anna Baer, Monica Stoddard, Addy Bird and Drake Bird; great-grandchildren: Maraya Harris, Charlie Harris, Maddy Harris, Cheylynn Baer and Cienna Baer; brother, Clifford Hart (Lisa); sisters: Diane Hart-Hillman and Dinah Hart-Corrigan (Ed) as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

A Celebration of Donna's life will take place at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Faith Community Church in Electric City, Washington.
