Donaghey received his bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas and his doctorate from the Ohio State University. Felix and Elizabeth "Liz" Marcolin celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a 10-day trip to Germany in December with their daughters Kathy and Kerin, Kerin's husband Steffen, and their three children.
