Our beautiful Winston Cyrus Moses came into this world on October 23, 1997, born at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee Dam, Washington. He was born to Pamela A. Ludwig and Ralph C. Moses. He was called home on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at the young age of twenty-four. He brought such joy to our families. Colville Confederated Tribes Natural Resources Director Cody Desautel is one of 47 people, selected from 500 applicants, appointed to the new federal Wildland Fire Mitigation and Management Commission. A number of community members who value North Dam Park are working to keep it afloat for the remainder of 2022. The park could close for lack of funding in August of this year, a result of the Coulee Area Park and Recreation District having been unable to renew a contract with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation before the end of 2021. The CBC is the governing body of the Colville Tribes with 14 positions total for the council, and seven up for re-election each year.
