The Lady Raiders' first loss of the season had to sting, coming from the Inchelium Hornets, who gave the previously unbeaten LR girls their first stiff competition this year April 16 in Grand Coulee. Lake Roosevelt boys remained undefeated as a team Friday after beating the 1A Cascade Kodiaks at Leavenworth, 3-2. It was the Raiders’ closest victory of the week that started with a 4-1 defeat of Manson on Monday, then tipping over Tonasket on Wednesday, also 4-1. The Raider boys as a team took third place at a 17-team track-and-field meet Saturday in Kittitas at the K-Valley Rally. Grand Coulee Police 4/3 - At the Continental Heights apartments, a man explained he had let another resident into his room who was drunk and began threatening him.
