City of Grand Coulee

NOTICE TO CONSULTANTS FOR SPOKANE WAY IMPROVEMENTS

The City of Grand Coulee solicits interest from consulting firms with expertise in Civil and Structural Engineering Design. This agreement will be for approximately two years in duration with the option for the City of Grand Coulee to extend it for additional time and money if necessary. Consultants will be considered for the following project.

The City of Grand Coulee reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.

Project Description

The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of preparing preliminary engineering design for improvements to Spokane Way from Grand Coulee Ave to Alcan Rd. The proposed improvements include reconstructing the road, roadway widening and stormwater. The project may also include curb and gutter. This project has a 0% DBE Goal.

The City of Grand Coulee reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this project.

Evaluation Criteria

Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the following criteria:

1) Qualification of Proposed Project Manager

2) Qualifications/Expertise of Firm

3) Ability to meet schedule

4) Approach to project

5) Familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA standards

6) Past Performance/References

7) Approach to meet the DBE goal or SBE goal (DBE Participation Plan of SBE Plan)

Submittal

Submittals should include the following information: Firm name, phone and fax numbers; Name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager; and Number of employees in each firm proposed to project.

Please submit a PDF copy of your Statement of Qualifications to: Ms. Chantel Crowe, depclerk2@gccitywa.org no later than 4:00 p.m. on May 15, 2024. Submittals will not be accepted after that time and date. Any questions regarding this project should be directed to Chantel Crowe at 509-633-1150.

CALL FOR BIDS

The Grand Coulee Dam School District hereby calls for bids to furnish the following for the 2023-2024 school year.

Milk for the school breakfast/lunch program during the 2023-2024 school year. Milk items on which bidders are to submit quotes per case are:

-1% Milk-22 cases per week.

-Chocolate Milk -20 cases per week

Multiple deliveries per week are expected for all Milk products.

Bidding will close at 3:00 p.m. on April 29, 2024.

Item 1. Remove approximately 3,200 square feet of Roofing, Roofing components (tar paper, sheathing, existing trusses) from a section of the roof identified by engineered drawings provided by owner.

Item 2. Install new truss package provided by owner within the section of the roof that is identified by engineered drawings provided by owner.

Item 3. Install new roofing, roofing components (tar paper, sheathing, etc.). All roofing and components shall be provided by the owner.

Item 4. Install roof trim completely around residence, roof trim shall be provided by owner.

Item 5. The contractor shall clear all debris and the owner shall provide a dumpster on site.
