Public Notice - Seeking Vendor

Coulee Area Park and Recreation District (CAPRD) is seeking a vendor for grounds maintenance at North Dam Park, Grand Coulee, WA

The time frame for 2024 contract runs from April through the end of October. The selected vendor will provide maintenance of the park in the areas listed below. The budget for this seasonal project will not exceed 22,000 dollars. We reserve the right to extend this contract for up to two years.

• Mowing of all cultivated lawn areas -- picnic shelter and adjacent grounds and both ball fields.

• Some adjunct tall grass and weed cutting.

• Provide for the operation of the park-wide irrigation system, adjustments and replacement of sprinkler heads as needed (may require working with Bureau of Reclamation employees regarding irrigation timers and water pumps, etc.)

• One spring fertilization of lawn areas

• Weed eradication in public areas

• General trash pick-up in all public areas and the Gehrke Windmill Garden

All interested vendors should submit a letter of intent to CAPRD. The letter will list the vendors proposed work schedule and cost breakout for the items listed above for North Dam Park. Include copies of vendors Company Liability Insurance and Washington State Business License as well as a list past work experiences relevant to this type of work. Letters of intent must be received by Tuesday, February 20, 2024 A final selection will be made by the 3rd week of February 2024.

Notice to Engineering Consultants

Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSQ)

Nespelem is requesting Statements of Qualifications and performance information from qualified firms interested in providing professional engineering consulting services for the 2024-2026 calendar years in conjunction with city sponsored projects with the potential for funding in part through the State of Washington Community Development Block Grant Program with Federal funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, USDA-Rural Development, and Environmental Protection Agency. Other sources of funding may include Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, Indian Health Services, Department of Ecology, Public Works Trust Funds, WSDOT, Transportation Improvement Board and State and Federal appropriations. Therefore, a number of state and federal equal opportunity and affirmative action requirements will apply to the selection process and throughout the project(s).

Required design services may include but are not limited to roadway, grading, storm water management facilities, water systems, sewer systems, surveying, project management, funding procurement and planning. Refer questions to Morgan Allen at 509-364-4691.

Firms desiring consideration shall submit two copies of a complete qualification package, limited to 30 single sided pages, for evaluating the firm’s qualifications to: Town of Nespelem, P.O. Box 240, Nespelem, WA 99155. Qualification packages must arrive no later than 4:00 PM on Feb 14, 2023.

CITY OF GRAND COULEE

NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

The Grand Coulee City Council will hold a special meeting to discuss the hiring of a law enforcement officer. The special meeting will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, 306 Midway Avenue. The city hall is accessible to persons with disabilities. The city will make arrangements to reasonably accommodate the needs of special classes of citizens, including handicap accessibility.
