Notice of Application

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Kevin Bowen of Quilcene, WA has submitted an application for approval of a four-lot short plat of parcel #010263000 located at 235 Lincoln Ave.

The project will be served by City water and sewer with access for Lots 1 and 4 from Lincoln, Lot 2 from Jackson and Lot 3 from either Lincoln or Jackson. 

 

Persons wishing to view project information may contact Electric City City Hall, 10 Stevens Avenue, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday.

Notice of Application

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Brian Buche of Electric City has submitted an application for a variance from the required front yard setback for the lot at 30 Jackson Ave, parcel number 010293000. The subject property is zoned R3 and 18.45.020 Table 3 ECMC requires a 20-foot (measured from property line) front yard setback.

If approved, the proposed variance would allow construction of a new home 5 feet from the property line. The proposed home will be connected to city water and sewer.

LOGIC AND ACCURACY TEST

In accordance with RCW 29A.12.130 and WAC 434-335, a Logic and Accuracy test will be conducted on the Okanogan County vote counting equipment. The test will be held in the Okanogan County Auditor’s Office at 9:30AM, Wednesday, October 11th, 2023.

At that time a “test deck” of ballots will be run through the vote tabulating equipment. The test is designed to check the ballot tabulating and precinct programming.

A test deck will be scanned and resolved at the time of the Logic and Accuracy Test.

The test is open to the public.

“An ordinance of the City of Electric City repealing Chapter 17.36 titled “Reimbursement for Utility Installations” of the Electric City Municipal Code and adopting a new Chapter 3.97 titled “Private Street and Utility Latecomer Contracts.”
