8/29 - Police extracted a fingerprint from a car window that appeared to have been pulled down while parked on Roosevelt Drive. The owner believes it might have been a man she has a protection order against trying to intimidate her.

- Police contacted a woman on Dill Avenue whose dogs were running loose in the area. She said she would get them rounded up back home. 

- A man in the area of Stevens Avenue and Grand Avenue was reportedly punching himself in the face. Police found him and believed he was under the influence of drugs. He declined medical attention, but accepted a ride to his Goodfellow Avenue home. 

 -A man in a tank top and pajama pants reportedly walked into a room being cleaned at the Center Lodge motel and spat on the floor. The witnesses believe they know who the man is, and he is to be banned from the motel.

8/31 - Police gave a stranded jet ski operator a ride from the Grand Coulee Dam Airport to Sunbanks Lake Resort.

- Police gave suggestions when someone reported a dog with cactus injuries at Coulee Playland. Police suggested contacting the local veterinarian, the organization Okandogs, or that perhaps the dog would return to its home on its own.

- Someone reported seeing, while viewing his security camera footage while away from home, a suspicious blue truck driving by his home multiple times. Police saw the vehicle parked on Kelso Avenue, and the owner explained he had been circling the block while having trouble finding his friend’s home. His friend confirmed his story. Police thanked him for his time. 

- A man told police he was court ordered to turn in his firearms. Police took control of the firearms and faxed confirmation that they did so to Kittitas District Court.

9/1 - An officer assisted tribal police in locating the elderly owner of a vehicle parked and running at the intersection of SR-155 and Front Street in Elmer City. The woman was located nearby and seemed confused. Tribal police gave her a ride home.

- Police tagged an abandoned SUV with Idaho plates for removal from the Washington Flats area at the request of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. 

- Police assisted the Electric City Fire Department by responding to Osborn Bay where campers were having a campfire or bonfire. The fire was already out by the time they arrived. The fire ban was explained to the campers.

8/31 - Police spoke to a man on Stevens Avenue regarding a woman who had moved in to help take care of him but then moved out, leaving her dog and belongings. The man said she had used him for a place to stay. Police told him that since she willingly moved out, he didn’t need to evict her, but that he also had to allow her access to her belongings.
