The Lake Roosevelt Lady Raiders remain undefeated after extremely solid wins against Oroville and Liberty Bell last week.

The Lady Raiders more than quadrupled their Oroville opponents score there Dec. 14, winning 88-19.

Point leaders for LR include Audrey Hansen with 15 points, Zalissa Finley and Cylia St. Pierre with 13 apiece, and Sawyer Steffens with 12.

The Lady Raiders went 17 for 29 from the free-throw line.

LR players pulled down an incredible 58 rebounds in the game, including 36 offensive and 22 defensive, compared to Oroville's 14 total rebounds.

Finley led LR in rebounds with 13, followed by Hansen and Aaliyah Marchand with 10 each, and Halle Albert with eight.

At home in Coulee Dam, LR again dominated on Dec. 16, this time winning 73-29 against Liberty Bell.

Point leaders include Hansen with 20 points, Finley with 14, St. Pierre with 12, and Shyanne Marchand, who scored 11, including sinking three 3-point shots out of five attempts.

Finley led the Ladies in rebounds with five.

"The last couple of games we have started to find our stride," Assistant Coach Matthew Pleasants said.

Intense to the last, Audrey Hansen (15) and Carley Neddo watch to see if Hansen's shot sinks late in the game againt Liberty Bell. It did, putting them ahead 67-29 with two minutes left.

"Audrey has had a solid season so far offensively," he continued. "Zalissa Finley has been playing really well too. Those two are starting to mesh together. The guards Halle, Cylia, Shyanne, and Aaliyah have done a great job of controlling the tempo.

"We still are not all the way there as a few more of the sophomores are starting to find themselves," Pleasants continued. "We haven't been at full strength yet as we have been battling with some injuries. So, this short two-week period we are happy for as it will give us time to heal up, but the downside is no games for two weeks. We look forward to our return to play in January."

The Lady Raiders are currently ranked fifth by the Washington Interscholastic Athletic Association, down from third since they haven't been playing as many games, Pleasants noted.

The Lady Raiders don't play another game until Jan. 4 when they are scheduled to play a road game against Almira-Coulee-Hartline, there at 6 p.m.
