Dorothy was born in Pownell, Maine on August 27, 1919; at 16, she moved to Boise, Idaho. On March 2, 1936, Dorothy married Henry Litz and had four children: Lawrence (Shirley) Litz, Missouri; Donna (Robert) Riley, Elmer City Washington; Millie (Chuck) Goodall, Grand Coulee, Washington; and John (Julie) Litz, Boise, Idaho.     Raymond "Shorty" Womer passed away peacefully in the Colville Tribal Convalescent Center Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015. He was born May 14, 1931, in Washington, D.C., raised by Harry and Lena Howard, Gaithersburg, Maryland. He joined the Air Force when he was 17 and was honorably discharged in 1952. He worked in El Paso, Texas, then moved to Washington State to the Omak area, where he worked at Biles-Coleman Lumber Company.     Edith Short peacefully passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015. She was in many ways a miracle child, as she was born without thyroid function. This condition often had severe lasting effects on children of that time. Born in 1931, Edith was one of the first to be treated by Children’s Hospital in Seattle for this disorder. Although she struggled with this complication her whole life, she was able to overcome it and complete college with a teaching degree from Central Washington University.
