For those wishing to place flowers on graves at Spring Canyon Cemetery for Memorial Day, please note that the cemetery manager will be mowing before the holiday. Flowers may be placed on graves beginning Thursday, May 27. The cemetery is asking that after the holiday, artificial flowers and containers be removed by Wednesday evening, June 2. The spring meeting of the Grand Coulee High School Alumni Association will take place at 1:00 P. M., Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the Senior Center on Main Street in Grand Coulee. Plans are taking shape for an Emergency Medical Technician course to be held around June 7 – Aug. 30 at the Grand Coulee Fire Station. The course is approximately 160 hours of classroom and labs. It will meet two nights a week and every other Saturday. It is a big commitment but a rewarding occupation, when completed.
