Inland Northwest Blood Center, along with the Grand Coulee community blood drive volunteers led by Leha Bodeau, is planning a blood drive for Monday, April 23. Donation hours will be from 12:30 to 4:15 p.m. at the community room in Coulee Medical Center. INBC needs an average of 200 blood donors every day to meet the needs of more than 35 hospitals in the Inland Northwest. A single donation can save the lives of up to three people! Electric City's council named Jared Armstrong as its public works director at its last meeting. Armstrong had been acting director since the end of March last spring when longtime director Ken Dexter retired after nearly 40 years of service to the city. Shoppers eye the Grand Coulee Dam Senior Center Easter basket sale as it kicked off Monday morning. Seniors volunteers spent days putting games, toys and treats together for the popular annual sale.
