Mr. Stroh, a native of Tower City, North Dakota, grew up in a farm family of eleven children. He received his higher education at the North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton, N.D. With North Dam Park hosting fire crews this week, the Rotary Club has moved their Spaghetti Feed fundraiser to the Church of the Nazarene. The church is located just 1/4 mile E of Grand Coulee on Hwy 174, 45925 SR 174N, Grand Coulee WA 99133. Six fires broke out in the area Saturday night following an electrical storm that swept the state, igniting about 100 blazes and stretching firefighters thin across the region. The Apple Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross has opened an emergency shelter at the Grand Coulee Dam Middle School. The Adams County Pet Rescue plans to hold a “Wiggles ‘n’ Wags” adoption event in Grand Coulee next week. The Rotary Club is holding its annual spaghetti feed this Friday night at North Dam Park picnic area to raise what members hope will be enough money to complete the club’s handicapped-accessible fishing pier at Steamboat Rock State Park.
