Adopt a dog event set for next week

The Adams County Pet Rescue plans to hold a “Wiggles ‘n’ Wags” adoption event in Grand Coulee next week.
Chris Holeman said he expects about 10 dogs to be on hand for potential new owners to get to know at North Dam Park between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23.
Holeman said he has three dogs from the organization, himself. He said the event will offer a relaxed setting for those thinking about getting a dog to get to know one first.
“We’re going to have a good time,” he said.
