Nothing was found. 7/31 - Police responded to an incident in which a 2-year-old child had suffered a broken wrist. Police were called by an emergency room doctor who said the break would not occur from a fall by a 2-year-old.     One man died as three others were injured in a one-car rollover south of Nespelem Thursday just before noon. John Reynolds, 44, died in the accident on SR 155, the only occupant of the 2003 Ford Explorer not wearing a seatbelt, according to the Washington State Patrol. All five of them were from Bellingham, Wash. The driver, 52-year-old Brian S. Reynolds, was airlifted to Spokane's Sacred Heart Medical Center. Jack T.     People that have been around the area for a long time said last Friday afternoon’s storm was the worst they had ever seen. A National Weather Service warning at 12:54 p.m. said it was moving north through Grant County at about 30 miles per hour.     Coulee Dam police are still trying to figure out what happened in the “exploding guitar” shooting incident that happened July 14, on River Drive, where a woman was shot in her arm. The badly injured Nicole Stice went to the door of her home at 1017 River Drive, calling out, “Somebody help me.” Stice had received a gunshot wound to her arm, but she told police that her guitar “had exploded” as she was playing it.     Margareta Elvira (Hanson) Pfeifer 96, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at the Coulee Medical Center Long Term Care in Grand Coulee, Wash. Margaret, or “Grandma” as she was called, was born July 16, 1916, in Chicago, Ill. The daughter of Swedish immigrants, Margaret lost her mother in the 1918 flu epidemic.     Grand Coulee Police 7/15 - Officer Dan Holland responded to a Regional Tactical Response Team call in Moses Lake and assisted in serving a search warrant for an armed gang member.     A woman on River Drive who suffered a gunshot wound to her right forearm last Saturday night told officers that her guitar had exploded. Coulee Dam Police Chief Pat Collins said Tuesday that there was a bullet hole in the woman’s guitar and that police pulled a bullet from a wall. A 45-caliber handgun was recovered near the room where the incident occurred.     The Grand Coulee Dam School District board has hired Wenaha Group, a native firm out of Pendleton, Ore., and Kennewick, to manage construction of its $31 million K-12 school. The board reached its decision last Wednesday evening after hearing five firms make presentations earlier in the day. The firm could receive somewhere in the neighborhood of $420,000 to oversee all construction phases of the new facility, The fee for services is one calculated by the Office of Superintendent of Instruction according to the size of the project.     The local park district through which North Dam Park was rescued in a joint community effort last year, will seek tax support at the ballot come November. Commissioners of the Coulee Area Park and Recreation District voted Monday to seek a levy to help support the district, which recently learned it will get a matching grant from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation this year.
