Vera M. Walker (Bluher)

Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, sadly passed away on April 6, 2026.

Born April 11, 1930, she lived a long substantial life. Born to John and Meyrtle Bluher (Filson) in Meadowbrook, Wash. She was the youngest of 12 children.

At 19 she met the one and only love of her life Alvin V Walker and on June 18, 1949 she married Alvin. They lived happily together untu Akvin's death in January 1998.

A son Dale was born in 1952 and another son Calvin was born in 1958.

The family enjoyed growing up on several farms started by Alvin and Vera, Valley Poultry Farm (Snoqualmie) and another farm in the Columbia Basin. Very enjoyed the life of a farm wife helping with the daily chores and raising her children. She also had a long career at Lamb Weston working in manifest at the Quincy plant.

Vera enjoyed quality time with her family son Dale (Vel) and son Calvin (Patty) grandson Brian, granddaughter Tami (Ryan), great-grandsons Gunner and Cannon who at a younger age called her (Banana).

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
