Beatrice Maryann Tatshama

Beatrice Maryann Tatshama was born October 18th, 2008 to Lonnie Sherwood and Levi Tatshama at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee, WA. She was the 4th of 7 siblings. She left this world becoming fully restored in heaven with our Father on August 25th, 2026.

In the summer of 2010 when she was 21 months old she joined the home of Geary and Lynette Oliver and became the uncontested favorite of their 6 children.

Beatrice attended Lake Roosevelt Elementary and was loved by the students and staff at her school and many times they went out of their way to include her and celebrate her milestones and accomplishments. Including receiving her 8th grade recognition honors last spring. During her years at Lake Roosevelt, she had two very special one on one aides. Angela Feeley and Wendy Olbright loved, protected and advocated for Beatrice every day. They will always have our deepest gratitude.

Beatrice lived her short life on this earth with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. She shattered her life expectancy predictions by over three times what was initially thought for her. Throughout her life she continued to accomplish many things no one ever expected her to be able to do. She walked on her own, if she felt like it, she ate almost independently, if she felt like it, and although she couldn't speak she communicated her wishes, which she always felt like doing.

Beatrice is survived and remembered by her parents Lynette and Geary Oliver, Lonnie Sherwood and Levi Tatshama. Her grandmother Nora Cornelius. Her grandfather D'Arcy Tatshama. Her siblings Lisa (Matt), Bradley (Patty), Terrin, Lena, AJ, Kane, Dylan, Veronica Lou'Cee, Darian and Adrian.
