Police
3/1 - A person called police regarding an employee not returning items, including keys, after their employment ended. The items had been returned, however, and police involvement was not required.
- A man was issued an infraction for not having insurance after being pulled over near Pole Park. The driver “failed to slow speeds as well as failed to move over” according to the police report. The officer gave him “a break” on the move-over law, but told him to do so in the future.
- A driver was cited for driving with a suspended license near the junction of SR-174 and SR-155 after being pulled over for having expired tabs.
3/4 - Police served civil papers regarding a protection order on Columbia Avenue.
3/5 - Police responded to an address on Cedar Street where utilities were supposed to be off. The owners had found the water turned back on and an electric meter installed. Police arrived for the meter to be turned off and lines cut so the issue would not happen again.
- Police arrived at a Birch Street residence to assist Colville Tribal Police, who already had a person in custody.
37 - Police told a woman that tribal police would have to handle her situation involving a man driving near her against whom she has a court protection order.
3/8 - A Columbia Avenue woman was afraid of possibly intoxicated people in her yard. Police did a thorough search and found no one but told her they would return if she saw anything else.
