Chet Baer

Chet Baer, a long-time resident of Grand Coulee, WA passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 68. He is survived by his son Nick Baer; his brothers: Jeff and Randy Baer; grandchildren: Cheylynn, Cienna, Clara, and Tiera,; his niece Donnitia Hart, and many other extended family members whom he loved dearly.

Chet was born April 16th, 1957 to Chet Baer Jr. and Ellen Hart. He later married Suzette Ann Harn and they had two sons Ben Baer and Nick Baer.

Chet was an experienced mechanic with an innate ability to fix any vehicle or crack a joke to bring a smile. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Chet was an active member of the community, having served on the city council, volunteering with the fire department, and having worked as a bus driver for the school district before retiring. He was also a devoted family man who always prioritized his family first and provided loving guidance to his sons.

Chet was an exceptional man, an amazing mentor, and will be missed dearly.
