Larry was born on May 9, 1940, to Bill and Ruth (Hubbard) Sanders in a house in Electric City and graduated from Coulee Dam High School. Larry was somewhat shy but lived a life with kindness and full of fun. He had a dry sense of humor, which many thought very funny, enjoying occasional shenanigans and fun adventures. He retired from the Grand Coulee Safeway after 27 years where he worked with many dear friends over the years. He enjoyed learning to fly a Cessna airplane and driving his Chevelle SS's (maybe even won a race or two when challenged). He loved stock car races, and airshows. Larry enjoyed hobbies such as woodworking and took much pride in working on and maintaining his vehicles.
