Dale Rodney Childers (Chili) was born on March 21, 1956 in Spokane, Washington at Sacred Heart hospital. He passed away August 9, 2024
Dale is survived by his significant other Marlene Millikan, his daughter Chelsea (Lance), granddaughters Sawyer and Kenzi Baltzell and Croix Kendall (Lance). His son Dakota (Jamie) and grandson Dustin. He is survived by his mother Lora Belle Childers, his sisters Deanna (Terry), Danette and Delora (Bob).
Dale graduated from Almira High School in 1974 where he participated in ASB and sports. He excelled at baseball. He went on to Junior College in Spokane for six months. Dale was called home to farm when his grandfather passed away. Dale has been on the Childers farm ever since.
Dale had a passion for life. One of those passions was snowmobiling which he passed on to his children. Another passion was being at the lake (Hanson Harbor). He loved boating and all the fun times at the lake.
Dale was a member of Boy Scouts, Lion's Club, Town Team Baseball and the Big Bend Golf Course.
Dale will be sorely missed by many people. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 5, 2024. The place and time will be announced at a later date.
A celebration of life will be held at the Childers' farm 1531 Childers Rd, E, Almira. Food and drink will be provided. Dale loved desserts. Feel free to bring a dessert.
