A little political history

For the people that have not followed political history, I would like to give you my perspective as to where the political parties have gone from the late 1950s and early 1960s. (I voted for JFK.)

The Democratic Party today is where the Socialist party was in the 1950s &1960s, and a large part of the DNC is where the communist party was. The Republican Party is where the Democrats were in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

To demonstrate my point, John Fitzgerald Kennedy could NEVER be nominated or elected President in the DNC party today. But he could in the Republican Party today. JFK reduced taxes in 1963. He cut the top rate from 91% to 65% and the bottom rate from 20% to 14%. JFK reduced corporate tax from 52% to 47%. He cut overall taxes by an average of 20%. Look what the DNC is doing to Robert Kennedy; they will not let him run as a Democrat. The DNC today would never cut taxes. In fact, they want to rase taxes on everyone because they can never get enough of your money to spend. In fact, President Biden intends to raise taxes by a large amount. The Republican party is as bad at spending your money. The United States is $32 trillion in debt, 129% above the national GDP and $1 trillion in interest alone.

Carl Russell

[Editor’s note: President Joe Biden has proposed raising taxes on those with incomes over $400,000 but not below that.]
