Joseph William Louie, affectionately known as Jobe, a beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on April 6th, 2024, while peacefully at home in Tacoma, Washington. He was born to Barbara Covington and Francis T. Louie Sr., in Omak, Washington on August 20th, 1974.

He would go on to graduate from Omak High School in 1993 where he excelled in both football and baseball and where his love for his dogs began. Afterwards finding work in lumber before eventually dedicating the rest of his career to Sears Distribution in Kent, Washington, Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, Washington, and Costco in Tumwater, Washington as a fork lift driver and a security guard for the Emerald Queen Casino in Fife, Washington. Over his many careers Jobe would go on to earn many safety awards and be recognized as an outstanding hard-worker and making life-long friends along the way.

His work ethic and dedication showed especially through his love for his family. Often spending his free time attending his children's football practices and games, dance and music recitals or taking his family on trips to museums, Pike Place Market, flying kites on 4th of July at Ocean Shores, riding ATV's with his friends, concerts, any adventure he could take, he would. Such a gentle and quiet soul with the biggest heart for all those that got to be a part of his life, Jobe was truly a foundation for the entire family and took great pride in his ability to bring peace, calm, love and unity to everything and everyone. Jobe was so loving, caring, and attentive, especially for his mother, never missing a day to talk to her and remind her how much he loved her, if not through his words, definitely by his actions.
