Notice of Public Hearing

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN; The town of Coulee Dam has published this Notice of Public Hearing of the Town Council to provide the opportunity to comment on the proposed adoption by reference of Grant County’s Critical Areas Ordinance.

The issued date of this notice begins a public comment period of not less than 14 calendar days. During this period written comments may be submitted to the staff contact.

The proposal may be examined at Coulee Dam Town Hall, 300 Lincoln Ave, Coulee Dam, WA 99116.

The Coulee Dam Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider and recognize, by Town Ordinance, the adoption by reference of Grant County’s existing Critical Areas Ordinance.

This notice is provided to inform the community of the pending hearing. The hearing will be held during the Regular Council Meeting scheduled to being at 6:00 PM on April 24, 2024.

Proposal Description: In effort for the Town of Coulee Dam to remain in compliance with the Growth Management Act’s (GMA) requirement to adopt critical areas regulations (RCW 36.70A.060), city staff is seeking to adopt Grant County’s crucial areas ordinance by reference. As of July 2023, Washington Senate Bill 5374 allows cities with a population under 25,000 to adopt the county’s critical areas regulations by reference to satisfy the GMA requirements.

Indian Education Formula Grant (Title VI) Public Hearing

Grand Coulee Dam School District Indian Education Program will host an online public hearing regarding our application for the Indian Education Formula Grant (Title VI). This program is designed to address the unique cultural, language, and academic needs of American Indian and Alaska Native students, including preschool children.

All are welcome to attend and provide input about our students’ needs and our proposed objectives should we be awarded this grant.

REQUEST FOR BID

Item 1. Remove approximately 3,200 square feet of Roofing, Roofing components (tar paper, sheathing, existing trusses) from a section of the roof identified by engineered drawings provided by owner.

Item 2. Install new truss package provided by owner within the section of the roof that is identified by engineered drawings provided by owner.

Item 3. Install new roofing, roofing components (tar paper, sheathing, etc.). All roofing and components shall be provided by the owner.

Item 4. Install roof trim completely around residence, roof trim shall be provided by owner.

Item 5. The contractor shall clear all debris and the owner shall provide a dumpster on site.

The residence is located at 45625 FDR Estates Road, Grand Coulee, WA., for contractor site visit and review of premises.
