Library open with new lights

Exciting news! The Grand Coulee Library lighting project was completed sooner than expected and we are now open, resuming normal operating hours.

 A huge thank you to the Friends of the Grand Coulee Library, the Library Advisory Board, and the City of Grand Coulee for their ongoing support. Their input and feedback informed every step of this project.

Let there be light! 

This lighting plan was thoughtfully designed by Blankenship & Associates, a lighting design firm from Spokane. We were able to maintain the existing electrical system and fixture stems for the lights. We replaced the existing fixtures with an integrated LED fixture and installed wireless controls. 

 These updates will improve the overall lighting system by significantly reducing maintenance costs, eliminating noise, modernizing the look and feel, and ensuring the lighting is tailored to the use of the space. 

As a result, your Grand Coulee Library lighting is more energy efficient and user-friendly!
