NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

SETBACK VARIANCE REQUEST

NOTICE IS HEREBY that Brian Buche of Electric City has submitted an application for a variance from the required front yard setback for the lot at 30 Jackson Ave, parcel number 010293000. The subject property is zoned R3 and 18.45.020 Table 3 ECMC requires a 20-foot (measured from property line) front yard setback. If approved, the proposed variance would allow construction of a new home 5 feet from the property line. The proposed home will be connected to city water and sewer. The Electric City Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing at 6:00pm on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at the Electric City City Hall at 10 Stevens Avenue. The purpose of the hearing is to take testimony regarding the proposed variance to allow reduction of the front yard setback from 20 to 5 feet. All persons requiring assistance in accessing City Hall or need other assistance are requested to contact City Hall at (509) 663-1510 prior to the hearing.

Notice of Meeting Cancellation

Public Hospital District No. 6, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties, Washington

Public Hospital District No. 6, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties, Washington; which operates Coulee Medical Center and Coulee City Medical Clinic, will be canceling the regular Board meeting for the month of December.

The next regular Board of Commissioners meeting will be held Monday, January 29th at 6:00pm.

Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties for Public Hospital District #6 PUBLIC NOTICE

This notice serves as an official notification to the Douglas, Grant, Lincoln, & Okanogan Counties for Public Hospital District #6, that the Board of Commissioners announces the resignation of Commissioner Clea Pryor effective November 30, 2023.

As a result, the Board of Commissioners will hold a Special Election to fill the vacated seat for 2024. The timeline of events is as follows:

• Special Board Meeting on 12/15/23, the following candidates were nominated by the Board:

• Public Notice of the Board Member vacancy and application procedures for the election of a new Candidate was published on the Coulee Medical Center website, and posted in the Coulee Medical Center Lobby on 12/15/23.

• Public Notice of the Board Member vacancy and application procedures for the election of a new Candidate was published in The Star (newspaper) on 12/20/23.

• Interested Candidates must submit a Letter of Interest to the District by 4:00 PM on 12/30/23.

KEELING, an unmarried person, as Grantor, to Frontier Title and Escrow as Trustee, to secure an obligation in favor of Washinton Trust Bank, as Beneficiary.

II.

No action commenced by the Beneficiary of the Deed of Trust is now pending to seek satisfaction of the obligations in any Court by reason of the Borrower's or Grantor's default on the obligations secured by the Deed of Trust.

IV.

The above-described real property will be sold to satisfy the expense of sale and the obligation secured by the Deed of Trust as provided by statute. The sale will be made without warranty, express or implied, regarding title, possession or encumbrances on the 26th day of January 2024. The defaults referenced in Paragraph III must be cured by the 15th day of January 2024 (11 days before the sale date), to cause a discontinuance of the sale. The sale will be discontinued and terminated if at any time on or before the 15th day of January 2024 (11 days before the sale date), the defaults, as set forth in Paragraph III, are cured and the Trustee's fees and costs are paid. The effect of the sale will be to deprive the Grantor, and all those who hold by, through or under the Grantor, of all their interest in the above-described property.

Anyone having any objection to the sale on any grounds whatsoever will be afforded an opportunity to be heard as to those objections if they bring a lawsuit to restrain the sale pursuant to RCW 61.24.130. The purchaser at the trustee's sale is entitled to possession of the property on the 20th day following the sale, as against the grantor under the deed of trust (the owner) and anyone having an interest junior to the deed of trust, including occupants who are not tenants. After the 20th day following the sale the purchaser has the right to evict occupants who are not tenants by summary proceedings under chapter 59.12 RCW. For tenant-occupied property, the purchaser shall provide a tenant with written notice in accordance with RCW 61.24.060;
