Amber Dawn Marchand, age 35 passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Spokane, Washington. Amber was born Sunday February 28th, 1988, in Grand Coulee, Washington to Frank "Barney" Marchand and Gaileen Kay Simpson.

A member of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville and the Catholic Church, Amber had worked at the Tribal Casino.

Constantly on the move to wherever her feet and cruising vehicle may lead, Amber also enjoyed beading and just relaxing at the lake. Her greatest love in life though was always her three children.

Amber is survived by her sons: Zacheriah Elwell, Elijah Elwell and Quincy Marchand; father, Frank "Barney" Marchand; brothers: Kelly Marchand and Jesse Marchand; sister, Leslie Stearns as well as numerous Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.

Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Gaileen Kay Simpson.

A dressing and viewing for Amber were held Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Strate Funeral Home, Grand Coulee, Washington 99133. Her community rosary & wake was held that evening at 7:00 PM at Nespelem Long House, Nespelem, Washington. With Amber's funeral service on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM also at Nespelem Long House, Nespelem, WA. Graveside services were then held Saturday, May 12, 2023, at Owhi Cemetery, Nespelem, WA.
