March food drive a success

The March Food Drive brought in over 2,000 pounds of food and over $,3000 to help provide nutrition to those in need for months to come, the food bank announced.

"Care & Share Food Bank of Grand Coulee Dam expresses its thanks and gratitude to the entire community for their support of our March Food Drive ... It was inspiring to have the community work together for this noble cause in uncertain times," stated Shawn Neider, president of the food bank and pastor of Zion and Bethel Lutheran Churches.

"In addition to our regular weekly service on Fridays," he noted, "we will be hosting a 2nd Harvest Mobile Market on Thursday, May 25, 10-12 at Zion Lutheran Church."
