The Raiders have racked up three baseball wins and three losses this season with two of those losses to Okanogan in three games over the last week.

Lake Roosevelt went down 9-2 against the Bulldogs March 21 in Okanogan, then lost 15-3 in the first game of a doubleheader with them at home on Saturday.

Centerfielder Bryce Wippel gets ready to make the catch for a third out in the second game Saturday against Okanogan.

The Raiders rallied for the second game to take it 7-4, plying both defense and offense - and even a little drama, or comedy, depending on how you look at it.

In early innings in game two, Bryce Wippel went for a deep centerfield fly and caught it for a third out.

Tanner Kiser got caught between bases trying to steal second. During the ensuing game of tag/not tag, as T.K. evaded the out with a smile on his face, Brit Egbert took advantage of the diversion to steal home with milliseconds to spare. Kiser made it to second.

Last night at home, the Raiders lost to Liberty Bell, 7-4.

Lake Roosevelt is set to play Bridgeport in Coulee Dam on Thursday, March 30, at 4:30 p.m.

That's their last home game scheduled until April 20.

Their next game away games are set for April 13 in Oroville, April 15 in Omak, and April 18 in Tonasket.
