"Center Senior Living" gets nonprofit status

An organization working to create a senior living facility in Grand Coulee has been granted nonprofit status it announced this week.

Center Senior Living achieved federal “501(c)3” non-profit status, as well as “Charitable Organization” status with the state of Washington.

The corporation is dedicated to bringing a state-of-the-art assisted living and memory care facility to Grand Coulee, said its board president, Cheryl Hoffman. Incorporation was in November 2022. On its six-member board are Cheryl Hoffman, chairman; Jerry Kennedy, treasurer; Rachael Seekins, secretary; Rich Black, member; Dennis Carlson, member; Ken Stanger, member.

They have engaged Senior Services of America, a facilities management company, and CareAge Construction, specialists in senior housing and facility construction.

“The board looks forward to celebrating more milestones as the project progresses,” Hoffman said.
