Gerry Kerby

Gerry Kerby left his earthly home peacefully at Coulee Medical Center on Friday, December 23, 2022, his wife at his side.

Born on March 30, 1940, to Clair and Eleanor (Springston) Kerby in Spirit Lake, Idaho he moved to Grand Coulee at a young age where his father taught school and coached at Grand Coulee Junior High.  Gerry loved this area and had many fond memories of growing up here especially having a horse and being a charter member of the Junior Ridge Riders. He moved with his family to Pasco in 1956 and graduated from Pasco High School in 1958.  After high school he served with the Army National Guard and then worked for Boise Cascade for many years returning to Grand Coulee for many class reunions.  After moving to the "city" he traded his horse for a motorcycle and owned, rode, and raced Harleys until 2018.  Moving back to his beloved coulee in 2019 he enjoyed seeing old friends and the Senior Center.

Preceded in death by both parents, two brothers: Ron and Dean, and a granddaughter Teddy, he is survived by his wife Clea, two sons Michael and Scott and a daughter Kim, grandsons Rick and Cole, two nephews and one niece. Burial will take place at City View Cemetery in Pasco at a later date.
