With pizza in the mix, a group of volunteers meets at the Lake Roosevelt Jr/Sr High School Hub Friday afternoon to talk about presenting information to the public on the upcoming school district tax levy measure voters will be asked to approve in ballots to be mailed out this month. Chair Karen Depew holds up a poster with a graphic also presented on a button advocating supporting schools, drawn by LR graduate Vanessa Ankney. The group plans to speak with local groups who want to know more about the levy, write letters to newspapers, use social media, and give out flyers explaining the need.
