Lady Raiders volleyball begins with a win

The Lady Raiders won their first game of the season at Liberty Bell High School Sept. 6
Lake Roosevelt Athletic Director Nancy Kuiper said the game was a “white-knuckle competition,” with LR winning the matches 3-0 by only two or three points.
The Lady Raiders were scheduled to play Okanogan yesterday, results of which will be reported in next week’s Star.
A home game is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 15, in Coulee Dam, with the varsity team scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
The ladies are scheduled to play in Tonasket, next Tuesday, Sept. 20, also at 6:30 p.m.
