Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12, 2022 in Spokane, Washington, with her family by her side following a two-year battle with ovarian cancer. Sandra was born on May 24, 1957, in Iwakuni, Japan. She later attended Harrington High School. She married Danny Stone on June 9, 1979, in Davenport, Washington. They were blessed with five children: Kenny, Kaylee, Allen, Leali and Kami. The family lived in the Addy/Chewelah, Washington area for nearly 29 years as Danny served as a pastor at Addy New Life Christian Center. In 2009 they returned to Almira where they began directing the operation of the family farm.

Sandra was a devoted Christian woman and pastor's wife and love to sing with the worship team along with involving herself in several other ministries of the church. She was a registered nurse, devoting over 40 years to the profession. Her specialty was obstetrics and estimates are that she assisted in 800-900 births at Chewelah's St. Joseph's Hospital and at Coulee Medical Center in Grand Coulee.
