Blood drive coming April 18

A drive to collect blood will take place April 18 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the American Legion in Electric City.
Vitalant says all blood types are needed, but especially type O. They encourage advance appointments.
There is no waiting period to give blood after receiving and FDA-approved COVID-19 vaccine, but the vaccine is not required.
