NOTICE OF INCOMING LOAN

Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area contains an incoming loan, consisting of a gavel, within the park's museum collection. The gavel was brought to the park in the 1950's from a Mrs. Joseph Kelley of Coulee Dam, WA.

The park hereby wishes to return this item to the rightful owner or gain proper title. If a written assertion of title is not presented by the owner to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area within ninety (90) days from the date of the second published notice, the property shall be deemed abandoned or donated and shall become the property of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

The park hereby wishes to return these items to the rightful owner or gain proper title. If a written assertion of title is not presented by the owner to Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area within ninety (90) days from the date of the second published notice, the property shall be deemed abandoned or donated and shall become the property of Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

CALL FOR BIDS

CITY OF GRAND COULEE

FEDERAL AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS

ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE $430,000 TO $450,000

Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Grand Coulee, 306 Midway Avenue, Grand Coulee, Washington 99133 up to 2:00 p.m .; local time on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Federal Avenue Improvements.

This Contract provides for the reconstruction of approximately 800 LF of Federal Avenue, from Main Street to Midway Avenue, including, but not limited to, excavation, grading, subgrade preparation including pulverization and cement treatment of the existing base, hot mix asphalt, storm drainage improvements, water main replacement (Schedule B), cement concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, and pavement markings, miscellaneous surface restoration and utility adjustments, and other work all in accordance with the Contract Plans, Special Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

The Work shall be substantially complete within 55 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed. All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, Grand Coulee City Hall, Washington.

The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above. Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents. All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Grand Coulee” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.

Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.

Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Grand Coulee, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of Grand Coulee expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.
