Support GenZ by supporting school levies

As a parent of students at our local schools, I plan to support the levies that are coming up on the ballot in the next few weeks. I hope you will too.

Generation Z will need to solve a lot of problems over the coming decades.

One of them will be how to care for an aging Generation X, and what to do with our old BMX, inline skating, and X Game-wannabe injuries. We all thought we were going to be Dan Cortese or Gabrielle Reece. And for a brief, glorious time . . . we almost were.

But at what cost?

I mean, there was no real concussion protocol when we played football back then. That should tell you everything about what we’ll need from GenZ in 20 years. To provide medical care, they will need basic math skills, effective communication skills, and a lot of STEM training.

They will need to know how to read medical histories, where a meniscus is, what a milligram is, and so much more. We need GenZ to be as educated as possible.

In all seriousness, let’s support them by supporting the schools at the ballot box.

Thank you,

Joe Tynan
